A car and driver in Rwanda starts from $70 for a half day (up to 5 hours) and $120 for a full day in Kigali, or $200 a day for an SUV on upcountry routes, with the car included and fuel extra. Tell us your plan and we confirm the driver, car and price manually.

In Kigali
For city days, a driver saves you from finding transport between each stop. Meetings, lunches, errands and hotel changes run on one plan, and the car is waiting when you come out. A half day covers a morning or an afternoon; a full day covers the whole schedule, including an evening dinner if you need it.
It also means one person who knows your addresses and your timings, rather than a different driver for every ride.
Upcountry and national parks
Outside Kigali the roads climb through hills and the distances add up, so a driver who knows the routes matters more. For national parks and long drives an SUV is the usual choice, while a sedan is comfortable and economical for city days. Tell us your route and group size, and we suggest the right vehicle.
Because roads outside towns are largely unlit after dark, upcountry days are planned so that the driving finishes in daylight where possible.

What the price includes
Every price includes the driver and the car. Fuel is not included and is confirmed with your quote. On trips that run over several days, we also confirm how the driver’s overnight costs are handled, so the full price is clear before you travel.
